| Give your students and parents a fail-safe guarantee. This is a greatly-reduced copy of the Fail Safe Guarantee issued to parents and students by the South Bay Union School District in San Diego, California. The guarantee is on parchment with a gold embossed seal. It guarantees that all children will read at or above the national average by the time the student completes second grade. If not, the District will provide intensive one-on-one tutoring to assure that the child will reach the program goal. For the guarantee to apply, parents must commit themselves to helping students with reading for at least 20 minutes a day.
