| This is a typical written page from a good accelerated learning language course. Note: 1. Each "act" is written like the act of a 12-act play, so you can visualize what you are doing. 2. Your own language version and the foreign version are written side by side, line by line. 2. You can read the foreign language version, accompanied by music, while listening to it through headphones-and still be aware of the translation. 3. No sentence is longer than seven words, a good "chunking" principle as it is easier to remember concepts with no more than seven items. *Reprinted from a French course for English-speakers, produced by Accelerated Learning Systems, Aston Clinton, Bucks, England, and reprinted here with permission.
