The parts of the brain that deal with different functions:

THE PREFRONTAL CORTEX, which deals with thinking.

THE MOTOR CORTEX: which controls activity.

THE TEMPORAL LOBE: the speech centre of the brain.

THE PARIETAL LOBE: which handles your spacial ability.

THE OCCIPITAL LOBE: your visual centre.

THE CEREBELLUM (or little brain), which plays a key part in adjusting posture and balance. It also acts like an "automatic pilot" when we perform learned functions like riding a bicycle or using a typewriter.

THE "GATEKEEPER": actually you have three "gatekeepers": the amygdala, the hippocampus and the caudate nucleus; all relay important messages to different parts of the brain.
