Education and Technology: Reflections on Computing in Classrooms (Jossey-Bass Education Series),
edited by Charles Fisher, David C. Dwyer & Keith Yocam.

Apple Computers has done more than any corporation to try and encourage schools to face the future with information technology.
Its ACOT program (Apple Classrooms of Tomorrow) has now been running since 1985. And this book is a summary if ACOT’s first 10 years — a decade in which the project was largely directed by David C Dwyer who is one of the three main editors of this book.
A fine summary of many of the problems associated with "computerizing" schools — with many excellent examples of how these problems have been overcome: unfortunately only in a handful of schools around the globe.
