Emotional Intelligence,
by Daniel Goleman.

Dozens of books have appeared in the past 50 years on IQ (Intelligence Quotient), but Daniel Coleman, in this ground-breaking best-seller, argues that "emotional intelligence" is of much greater importance than "academic intelligence" in developing a well-rounded person.
He says that, at best, IQ contributes about 20 percent to the factors that determine life success, which leaves 80 percent to other forces, which he groups under the title of his book.
Jeannette Vos, co-author of The Learning Revolution, regards emotion as the key to "unlocking the doors of learning", and both authors thoroughly recommend this book.
